Tarantino Collection - Kill Bill Vol I & II (SOLD)

In truth, we could argue all day long about what Quentin Tarantino’s best film is and still not reach an agreement, such is the quality of his output. But Kill Bill was unquestionably his biggest passion project. His love of Martial Arts B-movies is no more evident than in this, Uma Thurman lead, blood fest… complete with Samurai swords, impossible mid-air fight sequences and extra, extra long moustaches. Even the colour scheme harks back to the influence of Bruce Lee’s own passion project, Game of Death (his yellow and black tracksuit was his iconic costume of choice but, due to conflicts in filming schedules with Enter the Dragon, he never managed to finish the film before his untimely death in 1973).

Presented here are 2 original, UK edition, 2003 quad posters from Empire Design studio to promote both parts of the Kill Bill movie. 

Vol. I - Depicts our lead actor in her iconic yellow, leather suit, posing with a Samurai sword against a yellow background and horizontal black stripe. “A Roaring Rampage of Revenge” written below the title font. Condition is good, with fold marks and slight ware to the creases.

Vol. II - Our lead actor again, with Samurai sword in hand, this time in a black, leather suit against a black background and horizontal yellow stripe. “A New Film By Quentin Tarantino. Volume 2”, written below the title font. Extra Detail: “In Cinemas 23.04.04” also on view. Condition is very good, unfolded but with slight creasing and slight ware to top left corner.
